Biscuit Bandits
Biscuit Bandits is a branching narrative roguelike built in GameMaker, using JSON driven scenarios and stat based crew checks to turn each choice into a risk. I designed and programmed the narrative systems behind its replayable voyages, where absurd worldbuilding gradually builds toward an ending that reframes every crew loss and decision.

About Me
Hi, I’m Harrison Alonso, a computer science student at the University of Oregon interested in game design, narrative systems, and interactive storytelling.
I design and develop games that connect mechanics with character, choice, and emotional payoff. My projects include branching dialogue, player-driven outcomes, boss encounters, and narrative structures where gameplay decisions shape how the story is understood.
What interests me most about games is their ability to make a player participate in a story rather than simply observe it. Whether I am prototyping a combat system, writing dialogue, or designing an ending, I focus on creating experiences in which each interaction feels intentional and meaningful.
Outside of development, I write about film, television, and games, with a particular interest in pacing, atmosphere, structure, and emotional impact. I was born in London, raised in San Diego, and am currently based in Eugene, Oregon.
